Examination
Register for our class now in order to sit for the examination in January/April/June/November 2015. Candidates who wish to enroll for examination are required to pay a fee of $130.
Aims
The aims of this qualification are enable candidates to develop:
- An understanding of the basic principles underlying the recording of business transactions
- The ability to maintain the books of, and prepare final accounts for, sole traders
Target Audience And Candidate Progression
The examination is suitable for candidates who work or wish to work in areas of business that will involve the recording of financial transactions. All businesses require accurate accounting records that are maintained on a regular basis. Consequently, there is a demand for employees who possess these skills. Successful candidates can progress to the LCCI IQ Level 2 certificate in Book-Keeping and Accounts qualification.
Course Duration
Part-Time: 8 weeks (24 hours)
Weekdays, from 7p.m. to 10p.m.
Weekends, from 10a.m. to 1p.m.

Award Criteria
Candidates must fulfill at least 75% course attendance requirements to sit for examinations. To obtain the certificate (by LCCI), students need to obtain at least a pass grade in their examinations.
Pass : 50% - 59%
Pass with Merit : 60% - 74%
Pass with Distinction : 75% and above
